It’s the most wonderful time of the year! This year has definitely been a whirlwind of changes and challenges, so let’s take this holiday season to relive some old traditions and make some new ones.
Some fun traditional activities:
- Decorating the house for the holidays
- Making Christmas Cookies (Sugar Cookie Recipe)
- Make some hot chocolate or pick up some warm drinks and go for a drive to see lights around town or just around your neighborhood

- Read Holiday Themed Books
- Make homemade Christmas Ornaments (Recipe)

- Host an online Holiday Party

- Play a Holiday Themed Free Dance
- Apps like Khoot, Houseparty and Watchparty can offer some Holiday Fun!
- Have an online recipe exchange or have each person prepare the same meal together while you are online
- Do a holiday craft together while on line and share your finished products (examples: holiday masks using paper plates or decorate a stocking)
- Have grandparents lead a reading of a Christmas book to the family via Zoom or Facebook live
- Doorstep deliveries are a fun and socially distant activity. Create fun homemade treats and drive around delivering them to family and friends
- Lots of holiday performances are being streamed online this year.
